Dance/Movement Class: "Wake up that body before trying anything with the voice!" is what we're told, and this class will do just that for you! The class includes warming up and stretching, ballet, jazz, tap, stage deportment, and many other things that a singer needs to know about moving on the stage. If you're a beginning dancer, or fear you're "not graceful on stage," this is just the class to get you turned around and moving! If you already have some experience moving on the stage, you're in for a challenging treat! |

Group Vocalization and Masterclass: Now we're ready to use the voice! We will warm up as a group, and then each student will have opportunity to sing in front of the class and be team-coached by our outstanding vocal faculty and guest teachers! |

Rehearsal: This is where we put it all together. Every student participates in solo and ensemble numbers in staged performances of vocal works, ranging from music written for Renaissance plays to scenes from Broadway musicals, from art song to opera. Students perform in concert both on and off campus. On-campus concerts are in the exquisite Viennese style Ruth Lilly Hall. |
