Elisabeth Honn Hoegberg
Elisabeth Honn Hoegberg, music theory and voice (soprano), holds a Ph.D. in music theory and an M.A. in musicology from Indiana University, and a B.M. in music history and piano from Illinois State University. While at Indiana University, she studied voice with Paul Elliott and Roger Havranek, and served as a research assistant to Thomas Binkley in his last years with the Early Music Institute. Prior to joining the faculty of the University of Indianapolis in 2001, Dr. Hoegberg taught aural skills and coached the chamber rock ensemble at Oberlin Conservatory. In addition to her academic duties at the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Hoegberg is active professionally, singing with Mon Choeur (the university's professional choral ensemble) and the Meridian Vocal Consort. She is also a session musician at AireBorn Recording Studios, Zionsville, and a staff soprano at Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis.
