Michael Sylvester teaches private voice and voice masterclass at the University of Indianapolis. He is a part-time, adjunct instructor. He brings with him an international reputation and 28 years of experience as a professional opera singer (tenor), including numerous leading roles and concerts with many leading orchestras. He has performed in many of the world's premier venues, including the Metropolitan Opera House, Royal Opera at Covent Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Glyndebourne, San Francisco Opera House, and Deutsches Oper Berlin, among others. He has collaborated with some of the finest musicians of our time, including Sir George Solti, James Levine, Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Robert Shaw, and Rudolph Serkin, Placido Domingo, and Giancarlo Menotti.
